PocketScholar is designed with privacy-first principles. The offline AI model (Llama) runs entirely on your device. Your study sessions, questions, and answers are never sent to our servers. This means:

• Your study data is yours alone—we cannot access it
• No cloud sync of personal study information
• Study works completely offline without any data transmission
• Even if our servers go down, your app and data continue working

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. We only share information when:

• Necessary to protect our legal rights or enforce our agreements
• To prevent fraud or harm to users

Data Security

PocketScholar is designed for students ages 13 and up. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we discover we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.

The app uses Supabase for backend data management. Supabase is SOC 2 compliant and follows industry security standards. We recommend reviewing Supabase's privacy policy to understand their data handling practices.
